Canvas Print Stretching
Canvas Print Stretching
To work out if your print is small, medium or large multiply the width by the height in meters.
For example a print 40cm x 60cm would be .4 x .6 = .24m which is medium.
Small: under .15m square
Medium: .15m to .4m square
Large: over .4m square
I have been making my own frames and stretching my originals and prints myself for about ten years. It started from necessity but then I found that this was my preferred way to work. If you purchase one of my canvas prints you can take it to a framer and have the choices of frames, glass, floater frames or stretching. If you know you would like it stretched and you live in New Zealand then I can do it for you. My frames are 3.5cm deep and come with hangers and string so your print will be ready to hang.
If you have any issues just send me an email and we can work it out from there.
