“Mount Tutoko, the highest peak in Fiordland, kept watch as we investigated the rocky coastline at low tide. The heavy swell rolled in allowing only the briefest opportunity for us to jump into a crevasse between the rocks on the chance there might be an unsuspecting (and legal-sized) paua clinging to the rock.”
